First Axe clip.

updated version:

Even newer version:

Did this today. My ears are shot so I'm not sure what to think. One thing I noticed about the Axe is that its really fat in the low mids which is defnitely cool and different than what I'm used to. I dialed in a VHT patch tweaked a bit a went to town. How does it sound?

The piece itself is cool as hell. The tones are good, but not even close to my favorite of the things you've done. Not the same oomph as your Mark tracks, for instance. Probably not the Axe's fault, though; just needs more time and tweaking.
"If there was only a way that I couldn't even any less than I already can't then I'd gladly not, but I think I've entered some quantum paradox, dark matter levels of can't evening where the total absolute value of not evenness exceeds all ability to explain the can'ting." - MR RUBATO

I like it... not bad for a first clip with the Axe FX. @56 seconds, my balls jiggled fuuuuuu- me gusta! Keep tweaking it and post as many clips as you can. Always liked your playing.

As expected, your clip did not disappoint. You're going to absolutely fucking crush it when you get comfortable with that piece of gear bro. Nice work.

LOVE your playing as always... I even like the tone a ton... Great job! I think you MIGHT use a bit more presence in the rhythm guitar tracks though. Just my ears speaking anyway bro!

Thanks for the feedback guys. I do appreciate appreciate the feedback. I'm trying to get used to the axe and I've been using a different bass to record with so I have a bit more familiarization to do, but I'll get it down.

That did sound really good. I hear what you mean by the low mid thing; it is nice and chunky. I would probably echo the idea of using a bit more presence.

KC, I'm gonna post as many clips as I can. I feel I'm already making pretty good progress on my heavy tone. Gotta delve into cleans, lead and bass tones next. Really excited to have this all in one box. When I traded the Mark away, I desperately missed the clean channel it. It was so damned good.
Edit: Also, a newer version is up with less mids and more angry bee's.
