I was using the one that came with my V1. I can't find that mofo now though.
I think a thief broke into my house while I was sleeping and stole my one and only 12 volt power supply. He probably ate my poptarts too now that I think about it.

Coincidentally, yer bud Kevin threw in a 12 volt power supply when he sold me his AMT R1.

Laugh, but I go to The Salvation Army, Goodwill, & other thrift stores / junk stores & get power supplys. Soome times you can find 12V's. USUALLY, they're center positive, but easy to reverse the polarity. You can usncrew the casing & desolder, flip & re solder, or you can just cut the wires & flip em that way.

I use Hosa multi volt supplies you can get at best buy. The power supply that came with my V1 hums terribly if I chain the V1 and B1 but not at all if I use the HOSA. I have also found the preamps sound less congested at 12 volts than at 9 volt.

Ive heard a lot of stuff about them sounding way better running at 12V, which is why Im asking the questions here. I mean...at 9V and boosted, that shit sounds fucking stellar, though. But if it can sound better, why not...plus, its made for 12V and Im OCD about that shit.

Don't think I am brave enough to try 18 volts either. I think getting the proper amperage is more important than the voltage though. There is more note to note clarity at 12 volts vs 9 volt. I absolutely love the B1 boosted or non-boosted. It sounds great for everything from 80's rock to the heaviest of metal. The v1 sounds really good too and handles drive pedals very much like a vox would. While it sounds good, it doesn't quite have the mojo of an AC-30, but as close as I could imagine getting in a stomp box. I have seriously debated picking up a R1 pedal and depending on how close it sounds to my mesa rectoverb, maybe letting the mesa go.

For any of you that are using OneSpot or Power-All daisy chain adapters, I have a Power-All Iso-Pump from Godlyke that will convert the 9V DC to 12V, 18V, or 24V DC.
If anyone wants this [in the continental US], I will just ship it to them for free. Just let me know

The P1 on the other hand, I honestly can't tell the difference between the things I recorded with my real 5150 and the P1. I've never owned an actual recto, but have played through them. Maybe it's just the difference in the EQ that makes me feel it's a touch different.
Honestly, I use my recto more for recording at this point than I do for live stuff, unless its a huge gig with room for multiple amps. If it gets close it would probably be enough for my needs. My main live rig for the last year has been my AMT based pedal board through a magnum 44 power amp into a small 1x12 cab or 2x12 if the gig requires. Pedal board goes like this: guitar > wah > flanger > loop switcher(loop 1 AMT B1)(loop 2 Dano CCD > AMT V1) > volume Pedal > flashback delay > power amp red box DI and cab. It just covers so much ground and makes setup dead simple.

On my pedal board that i have currently a amt legend e-1, I power it with a t rex fuel tank jr. By contrast, on my pedal board that i have two amt drive pedals (o-drive and p-drive), i power them with voodoo lab iso-5 power supply. no issues with either.
