Anyone Here Using A Roller Bridge On Your Les Paul?

I picked up a 1991 Studio a few months ago and really love it. Only problem I am having is it's breaking strings left and right. I'm certain it's the bridge since I can see how worn in and sharp the grooves are where the strings sit. It also has the action set a bit high. So there is quite a bit of angle up from the stoptail to the bridge. I'think the next set of strings are getteing wrapped around the stoptail to see if it will help. But, I am already resigned to buying a new bridge. The one I've been eyeballing is the Schaller Roller Bridge. Not only because of the rollers, but also for the string spacing adjustability. String breakage aside, the only other issue I have with the guitar is string spacing. I have fleshy finger tips. Which isn't a issue on my Strats. On the LP it is. So, any space I can gain between the strings would be huge.

TL;DR- Anyone using a roller bridge on their LP?

I've used the schaller roller bridge on other guitars in the past. It's a great bridge.

I have one on an older Heritage I have. I like it, well made, and able to adjust the string spacing as you stated. Some folks feel roller bridges affect the tone because of the way the string "breaks" over the edge. I know I have read articles on it, and John Suhr talked quite a bit about it. I like mine fine, but not sure if a traditional would sound better on mine, as I have only used that bridge with that guitar.

I have a graphtech bridge on my LP style guitar.... works great. Thought the extra adjustments on the roller bridge is sweet

Thanks guys.

I have roller saddles on all three of my Strats. Sustain is not a issue at all. Neither is tone.
