This is about how my night is probably going to go.

A day later...

"Introducing...Henrietta. Here is a photo of her taken this morning with your message. As you can see she has very long nails from all her time standing on wire in the battery cage, but I will clip those in the next couple of days (after she has had a chance to settle in).

She hasn't lost too many feathers thank goodness, although as you will see she has a bald head. This is probably where the other girls in the cage have pecked at her. Those feathers should grow back with time.

Henrietta is fascinated by the sky and she keeps looking up at it. I guess it must be pretty overwhelming if you've always had a cage and a roof above your head.

D had dark chocolate/raspberry ganache set out for me this morning, with coffee...I also noticed a Victoria's Secret bag on the dresser with a note that said "Don't peek!"....and she just called to let me know she left the office early to make me dinner.
