Too much size causing discomfort...

So, my new Way Huge Green Rhino sounds AWESOME!!! But I knew when I chose it over the MXR Modified OD that the giant housing might create some difficulties. Actually, it fits on the board just fine ...

Only thing is ... there is just no physical way possible that I could ever manage to hit the Rhino and the Riot with one stomp, thus switching from od to high gain in one switch. Not that I need to all that often, but still ~ gotta have something to winge about.
I could always exchange it for the MXR ... but the GR has so much "mojo"!

Hire flunky to stomp pedals for you.
Beat them when they fail.
OR, buy a 2 spot loop. Set it closest to you, running both through it. Select either or or BOTH!
I'm a bit buzzed so I'm not sure how this would work exactly. But, you get the idea. Basically an ABY pedal. Leave both on all the time. Choose one or the other or both!
A silly solution for a barely existing problem.

Put something under the Riot to get it to the same height and you might have a chance.

Thought about an a/b/y, but I couldn't figure how I could turn 'em both off, y'know?

Prolly the best bet, short of exchanging the Rhino for the smaller pedal...

Conversely, I guess I could find another Way Huge pedal to replace the Riot, right?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008G2UD4CPut both of them in the loop of that. Leave them on all the time, turn them on and off with the MXR switch. I hvae had mine for a week or so with 4 pedals in the loop. Turn on them all off/on with one click. Super easy and pretty cheap to boot.

Looks cool & I lub me some MXR, but with that box, how would I toggle between the two drives?

^ they have a 2 loop version (M197 I think?) I didn't buy it as I didn't need the second loop and I wasn't sure how exactly it would work for my purposes. I thought you just wanted to be able to turn on 2 pedals with 1 click.

sounds like it's time to get a Midi switching system and a rack.....

Lol! Too true!

Perhaps I'll just arrange whatever tunes I'm playing live such that they don't require instant switching between the two boxes... ;idea:

I have all my gains on a mini looper pedal. I just get which pedals I want on ready and hit the looper.

It would take a bigger board, but that's ultimately the way I ought to go, I think.

Like I said, it would take a bigger board, but that looks pretty damn cool.
(You've got a gadget for everything, don'tcha, Chris? You're the "Q" to the rock & roll version of James Bond, ain'tcha?

well, so you can't do it in one stomp, but how long does it really take for you to stomp twice?
If you are on OD with the GR on and need to go to high gain, just turn the Riot on, then turn the GR off. Yes, the first note or so will have the 2 pedals on, but it's hardly noticeable?
Unless I am missing something....

OCD. Not on the board, but in the mind

Guilty as charged

Naw, you're not. Essentially, that's the conclusion I came to jammin' in the music room last night.

But c'mon, though.... how cool would it be to rack all that stuff in a great, honkin' refrigerator and have a kickass, customized Bradshaw switching system to run the whole thing? I mean, you really need that for banging out blooze/rawk covers in local dives in South Carolina, lemme tell ya!
