I've been checking around and can't seem to find vids or clips of a '66 GA-35RVT. I've seen where some compare the GA series to comparable Fender amps of the day - while others say their shit. Curious if anyone has any input on these things.

I have that same amp. Shocked the hell out of me. Replaced power cord and found that the power switch was bad. It's some odd ball rotary switch that's Impossible to find. Mine sounded like a grittier twin reverb if that makes any sense.

Yeah, they are nice. If it looks good and seems right and you can get it for about $300. At that price you can buy it and play it for awhile and if you dont like it you can get your money back. They may sound better to you with a Gibson guitar than a Fender amp will. I understand they were voiced for a Gibson the way a Fender was for a Fender guitar. I like a Gibson guitar with Fender and Vox so as others would mention the combinations are good too.

I had the GA-15RVT. Nice vintage sound but the most frighteningly trebbley amp I've ever heard. It only sounded good with treble on 0 and bass on 10.

Thanks. Guy is asking less than 300 for a completely original super clean 35RVT with original footswitch. I figured there wasn't much to loose at that price.
