So I bought this. It's good. You should too. I put it on the first insert of the master fader and without even a single tweak of any parameters everything sits in the mix better. Awesome. Noob proof.

The Virtual Mix Rack is seriously good too. I'm still an idiot at recording, but I'm a better sounding idiot today than I was a few weeks ago.

Buy them. They are cheap enough and worth it.

I want all of them. Wish I could have afforded to splurge for their holiday sales.

I used to have FG-X, VCC, and VTM and totally swore by them. I think I could do 75% of my mixing with just Slate stuff (which would have the added benefit of an awesome workflow and less option-overload). I've heard nothing but good things about VMR and VBC.

This one is $99. The virtual mix rack is $150, which I bought and it's awesome.

Nope, that's something different but also awesome (although quite a lot more subtle). I think Mike might have been referring to holiday sale prices, 'cause VBC is definitely $150 right now: http://www.slatedigital.com/online-shop ... ompressors
