I'm not sure if I just haven't tried the right stock reverb plug in on my reaper but I don't really like the reverb I tried. Anyone know of any good reverb plugins that are easy to grab?

Also, Kjaerhus Audio Classic Reverb is great :thu:

I came here to suggest the Kjaerhaus Classic reverb too - it's one of my favourites for room sounds/ snare reverb.

For a while TC Electronics was giving away their M30 (I think it's 30? some number lol) reverb plugin for free. Not sure if you can still find it but if not I can send you a copy of mine.

It's OK

I uae Glaceverb quite often for any time i want a more over the top heavy reverb effect.

I also use Sir reverb a ton. This plays impulses, so you need to get impulses to use but there's a billion out there. A lot from famous reverb units. So, technically you can have reverbs from gear costing thousands of dollars. Yay, for internet stealing! Lol.. Anyway, Its convincing enough for me. Plus, the parameters utilized in Sir are well suited to get the impulse tailored to your needs.

Another one is voxengo OldSkoolVerb which is freeware too. I actually have very old version of it (1.4). It good though i use it less then the soft dx light posted above. The newer one may be even better though. It is good to have at least few reverb plugins as it give you some variety to choose what would work good for what you want.
