I am getting REAL tried of programming loops! LOL!
I usually take a GrooveMonkee loop or the like just because the velocity settings are pretty good and then tweak to my needs. It is still VERY time consuming to make it feel like a drummer played it.
My buddy was just in my office and he was like, "Dude, you NEED to try the "drummer" feature.

Heh missed this thread.
I have used it a few times when I didn't feel like tweaking loops or building my own. It's not bad and with the different drummer styles you can cover a whole bunch of ground. It still feels a little mechanical but if you wanted you can convert drummer tracks to midi and tweak normally.
Also if you have a favorite drum plug for sounds you can still use it instead of the Logic kits.
Here's a quick test I did a while back. Drummer is driving Superior Drummer 2 in the case
I use it, and really like it. Really, I'm just doing this for fun, so if it's a little mechanical, it's not going to hurt too much. I usually swap out the kit for EZ Drummer kits though.
