Just wanted to see if any of you know of some really good gritty synth plugins and electronic drums programs for heavy industrial stuff?

Whatever synth is in the DAW + distortion plugins. And if I feel particularly gnar, chorus, delay, and a cab simulator to make it smack in the proper depths of the mix.

I have Reaper and I played around with some distortion effects on the native instruments Kontact factory selection Jazz Organ last night and they sounded like total bullshit. But I didn't really look thoroughly through the effects list. I have the native instruments Monarch Synth plug in. That shit is pretty dope with some real grit and grain. I haven't tried the Reaper synths.

Just seeing what guys do. My obsession with KMFDM has me wanting to learn how to blend raunchy synths with heavy guitars.

I have the Arturia V Collection. You can tweak the hell out of these. I haven't used it a ton yet but mixing it with effects and amps can get some wicked sounds:

For drums i use Superior Drummer 2. For industrial drums i'm not sure how that main program would work for you but they have a bunch of genre specific setups and i'd assume that one is out there somewhere too.

I would think that most drum VST/AU plug in's would be fine. I would think eq/post effect add on's would make the drums have the feel you want.

Yeah I got a lot to learn. I've been spending a lot more time at home with creating "exercise" tracks with layering instruments in Reaper. I've bought a few plugins and I'm finally starting to make good use of them and learning how the fuck to use it all.
