Recording your real amp on an iPad...worth a look

Here's a quick overview of how I record my amp into Auria for iPad with the help of some speaker cab sims in Overloud THM (the mobile version for iPad) yes...I threw in a little 80's style jam for the second half ;)

Pretty cool, nice tone too. I would have mentioned that those with tube heads need to be sure the cabinet stays connected or that they use a load box so that newbies don't end up frying their amps. :cop: And you could also mention that the FX send can work to get the preamp signal if an amp doesn't have a line out.

Ah.. True...forgot about the noobs. Although I'd hate to cause anyone to fry their amp due to lack of info....yes, a load box/DI BOX for tube amps would be required. The newer Hughes & Kettner have a redbox di built in to them which is really nice. (Feeling sheepish...lol)
