Members of DOWN, Pantera, Eyehategod, Crowbar, Corrosion of Conformity, Goatwhore, and Acid Bath amongst others, including Philip H Anselmo, Mike “IX” Williams, Jimmy Bower, Kirk Windstein, Pepper Keenan, and Sammy Duet talking about their influences and bands they've been in over the years. 1st in a 7 part series.
Anselmo still sounds kind of fucked up...1st one wasn't bad; be interesting to see if this is just some kind of fanboy series or if they're gonna get into some deeper shit.

I'm surprised they barely even mentioned Acid Bath.....here in Louisiana AB is easily the most highly regarded/legendary out of all those bands.
Looking forward to watching the rest of these

Have you watched Slow Southern Steel? If you are a fan of this genre; it is a good one as well.

Did the Suplecs ever get respect down there? I saw them here in Austin once, and may have actually played a show with them but its been so long now I have forgotten all the details. However, I remember being blown away by them!

Now that you mention it; that is weird. Marked for later.

Its only episode 1, I'm sure Acid Bath will get more of a mention. Why do I have a feeling that Phil and Dax wouldn't get along?

That was a cool video and I'm really looking forward to the rest. I love a lot of those bands.
I do have to say, Phil should be in anti-drug ads. Dude might be clean now, but he is a freaking posterboy for "Drugs are bad mmmkayyy?"

Yeah, I don't know. If he isn't, he's sure fucked himself up bad.
Still an awesome vid. I just hate to see anyone destroy themselves on that shit.

Nobody gets along with Dax
I mean he's been super cool to me the few times I've chilled with him, but every single person I know who has played/toured with him ends up quitting because of his douchebaggery

He's been screaming for 25 years. That'll fuck yer voice.
And while Phil seems kinda messed up, its really how he's always been.

That's what I've always heard/read.
