I know we don't have a ton of edm guys on here, but this isn't exactly your typical edm. https://soundcloud.com/deadzonemusic/release-the-kraken-unmastered-version Not sure what label it will come out on yet, as I am posting this "unofficially", so it will be deleted in a couple days. Just posting this as a teaser.

Nice will check out once home. I don't talk about it much here but I'm big into the genre, what do you use to produce?
I've been thinking of grabbing a push + ableton since I've been into dnb for the last decade and have really been enjoying going to EDM shows the past couple years.

Its mostly dubstep-ish bass music with some dark ambient elements added. This one is in 110bpm, so it technically isn't dubstep, but it's definitely not anything else you might label a 110 track.
I would recommend FL Studio, super user-friendly and comes with a boatload of handy plugins.

Awesome that sounds like something I'd dig actually. I tend to prefer the heavy "brostep" type stuff a lot of the time so heavy bass is good.
Since you're also a guitarist have you ever considered using a guitar midi controller or anything to create with? I feel like I could create music FAST that way and then also have something I could actually perform in a live context if I were so inclined.

Oh dude, that's exactly what I make, so I hope you like the track!
