Suddenly it makes a bit more sense.

Youtube description:

When Robert Johnson was recorded, in order to fit the material on 78 rpm disks, the recordings were sped up by 20%. This gave them an unnatural sound. I have corrected this. Reducing the recording's speed by 20%, (Yes, I calculated the correct reduction which is 83.4% so not to worry. This is the real deal.) I've restored Robert Johnson's truly original sound so what you hear in this video is the real deal, the way he sounded naturally, his actual performance, at the speed and pitch he really sang and played the song. I find the speed and pitch to be natural and realistic. The controversy will, no doubt, continue. Let me know what you think, by all means!

First, the music's cool. Dude was a blues genius.

Second, that video's taglines are just plain wrong. Supernatural told the real story. At least Robert's crossroad demon was a hot babe. Fuck having to seal the deal with a kiss on Crowly's ugly mug.

That's just silly, Supernatural is just a tv show!

I mean obviously Crossroads is what told the REAL story! That was a major motion picture for crying out loud! And it had the Karate Kid.

The rhythm sounds so much more natural like this. On some of the original versions it sounds as if he's not even playing in time. This sounds so fucking natural like he's right in the groove. Fucking cool. Also, the Zep version of this song is one of my favorites.

Man that's fucking cool - never knew any of that and was always kind of put off by the sound. This is definitely better.

Super interesting.

I've always been kind of a douche, and I never "got" ancient blues, but this is pretty badass.
