And I can't stop jamming along to old blues stuff. I've even been playing along to some Blood Sugar Sex Magik - great fun. Bit of fuzz and a wah... tad bit of overdrive. Schweet stuff.

I've been playing both through my Laney Cub 12R and my IRT Studio. Both work really well. We have some band recordings coming up, and I'm going to stick a bit of strat on them.

You said Strat, fuzz, wah, and Laney in the same thread. Winning.

By far the best pickups that suit this guitar... (I've gone through loads of boutique pups) and it's gone through so many changes over the years. I do like the Antiquity II Surf as well, but these hit the tone I've been hearing in my head.

What are the pickups?

Just a set of California 50's (SSL-1's). Nothing overly fancy, but sound great.
