Re: This is sad (King's X content)
Firehouse and Great White on the same bill? There is a joke in there somewhere but I'm not going to touch it.

all these bands should just sell all their shit and apply to roadie for Kings X.
I'd list my crap here...and act like anyone gave a damn, but I can't seem to keep my rig the same way for more than a week.

Uh.... no.

I'll give ya that they are not eveyone's cup of tea... and that the sound is bit different, but if you see them live, that is one amazing wall of sound coming at you from three dudes. Ty has massive guitar sound... one of the best lives tones ever. 3 part harmony vocs, and super tight intricate ryhthym. Overall one of my favorite bands. But.. I like their eraly 90's music the best. Kings X, Dogman, and Faith Hope Love are the three best albums for me. Didn't like the newer stuff like XV very much.

Yup. Kings X rocks... The rest are overrated.. Loudness and X would be freaking great to see live!!

WTF is "Great White featuring Jack Russell?!" Is another GW out there playing without him?

Re: This is sad (King's X content)
King's X is one of my favorite bands of all time. SO fucking amazing.
That said, I've seen some questionable motherfuckers open up for them, so this isn't surprising to see. Zug Island, anyone?

Re: This is sad (King's X content)
Saw Twisted Sister last year. They are like the world's greatest bar band (musically speaking), but Dee Snider is an awesome frontman. They were excellent. WASP (if they show up lol) and Loudness will be great as well. King's X are a great band from a songwriting and musicianship standpoint, but they aren't really very exciting imo. I liked Gretchen Goes to Nebraska back in the day and that is about it. The whole (incoming oversimplification) grunge rock with Beatles vocals thing really bores me.
