Aloha fellow Guitarnutz....
I just joined the board. In a band called 11th Hour and we reside in the good old 50th state. We are a real working band and released a CD last year called "Kilroy was Here" that received a local Hawaii Music award nod. We are all mainland transplants, some from the military and ex military and civilians. We are blessed to have as many gigs as we can handle, which is a rarity in this Hawaii music scene. We attribute that to plain hard work. Rehearsal and Tenacity. We plan on riding out this market and have no plans to tour. Half of the band has been there and done that... (the civilians).

Cool latest news. (Begins Wed 6/25) This year, we have been selected by the Department of Defense to play the Pacific Fleet's RIMPAC event, where Navy's from all over the globe come to Pearl Harbor and play war games. We get to play every other day right on the dock next to the carriers. Pretty cool stuff for a civilian that grew up in the sticks of Northern Cali.
