Didn't dig his voice much, but they've got a sound of their own. Very cool band.

Back in the day, it wasn't thrash and I immediately wrote them off. His OTT vocals were a lot more off-putting back then as well. As I listen to this now; I really appreciate his singing. I still don't dig the doom (speed it up already haha :) Vocals and soloing is very emotive and killer either way :rawk:

Hell yeah, Candlemass is a pretty huge name in the whole doom world.

I'm pretty sure Rob Lowe (lol) from Solitude Aeturnus replaced that singer at some point.....SA is another band you should check out if you dig this type of music. They fucking rule

Oh gawd. My buddy back in high school had one of their live videos and would force me to watch it every once in a while. I didn't mind listening to the music, that's fine. But please GAWD don't make me watch him do the march/stomp towards the camera anymore. Oh my fuck.

This is the song that originally made me :freak: Vibrato on his voice drove me nuts back when I was 15  It is better in retrospect.

I bought that album right after it came out but did not see the video until now. Belly boys FTW.

The video put me off for so long. It was so cringeworthy. It wasn't until I saw them with Rob in 2009 at Bloodstock that I really became a fan. I'll have to check them out with Mats Levin next time I see them playing nearby.
