I've built two more amps.

Brut is a dual channel PCB amp, dual master 50 Watter with loop built into a smallbox plexi headshell. 13 pots on the front was the challenge . . . Clean + HR-ish.
Loop is LND 150 driven (ext. PCB).

Tempest comes off a Cornford Hurricane but with a 50s Watt A/B poweramp, tube loop and tube reverb. PTP. Sounds from clean to mild lead with few pots.

Olaf

Your builds always sound amazing Olaf, and these are no exception. The distortion character of that Brut in particular is kick ass

This. So glad Olaf made it over. I'm actually digging on the Tempest! Sounds great. Plus with Olaf you're always guaranteed some Thin Lizzy riffs, and can anyone really argue with that?!?

Fucking fantastic amps man! I'm impressed. The high end on the Brut is gnarly but not harsh. Top notch rock tone.

But yeah, the Tempest is more my bag. The clean is the kind of rounder clean tone that I dig and the distortion is a little bit more modern than the Brut to my ears, which is my bag.

Currently I'm building (its been a long time that I've built one) a Soldano ish thing (40 Watts) - so something like the HR25. Also incoming are parts for a Brut 100, which has some (minor) differences to this amp. Obviously the poweramp is different, but I've also skipped the active depth boost in the 100s (not necessary) and added some relays to switch between 3 and 4 gainstages - still a 2 channel amp though.

I've stumbled over an Avengerish (black SLO) chassis and could not resist . . . a kind of tweaked lower watt SLO-ish (no clean mode though, useless anyway) with the loop after the channel masters like the 22H and such. Fresh 5881 tubes in the vid . . .

Was late at night, even slopier than my usual sloppyness . .. (spelling?)

The depth pot is the overall master while the depth is located on the back.

New amp sounds fucking awesome too. What speakers are in that cab you're using there?

Each of these cabs (2061cx) has a V30 and a Marshall Vintage (Marshall's V30 which is smoother than a standard V30).
