Can somebody give me a step-by-step on how to use something like "Tabbit" to program loops into my SSD4?

Raf? ... anyone?

Since having lost my bandmates recently to life changes I've been starting to wrench on music projects at home with my Reaper DAW, Native Instruments Kontact and Reactor, and want to gain better working knowledge of my SSD4.

I bought the Cuba expansion for my Kontact and that shit is fucking dope. If you like Afro-Cuban rhythm patterns, the whole array of percussion instruments, and some really good melodic instruments for the style, this expansion sounds fucking grade A. I've always wanted to do some Afro-Cuban hard rock as part of a solo project and I'm stoked. I want to incorporate a rock drum tone to the tracks I've been making and eventually use the SSD4 for some legit hard rock pieces. Any help would be appreciated.

I need to learn this shit too. It's pretty much the only thing holding me back from starting my new project.

It's cubase but reaper is exactly the same process.

If you use some other program to create the midi then you'd just drag and drop it to the vst instrument track instead of using the piano roll.

Yup. It's been holding me back from doing my project for over a year. The SSD4 samples sound wonderful. Fucking use them Mike.

And thanks. I'll check that out.

Dudes seriously. Just use the piano roll. You'll have to to adjust the sensitivity anyway. It'll make your life waaaay easier.
