I've been using one in the bridge my SG with great results. Very bright pickup but with a really full tone. Does anyone else like the PP as a bridge pickup?

Nice. Quick reply.
I LOVE Paf pros in the neck. I have one in 3 of my 4 guitars, but I've never tried one in the bridge. Might have to give it a whirl one day...

No cover... just a black pickup with black polepieces...

Yeah I am installing one in the neck this weekend so this guitar will have dual PAF Pros. It's a great pickup, very versatile.

I've heard good things about these -- I want a different bridge pup for my S-100. It has a JB in there now -- I like it ok,...but it's just too hot for my taste now. Would like to try a 36th Anny or even a Duncan 59. I have a 59 in the neck that I love.
Oh,..I need 4-conductor.

The pre-Evolution Ibby Jems all had Paf Pro's in the neck and bridge. They sounded pretty sweet to me.

Is that my old one Bill? I am a fan of the PAF Pro in the neck but never tried it in a LP/SG style guitar. Would be interesting. I am digging the Super D in my Jackson.

The 59 is a great pickup. If you want a tighter bottom end though, the 59 will not deliver. Gets a bit squishy.
The 59 is my favorite pickup though and I am looking to remedy the squishiness. Heard the Custom/59 hybrid might be the ticket.

This. I don't have any doubts it would be a great bridge pup though.

My little brother has had one in the bridge of his Epi Sheraton for a decade. It works great for him.

me too. I've heard great things about them but hadn't had the chance to actually play a guitar with them yet. They look awesome though.

I used to have an epi LP with a PAF pro in the bridge. It was sweet!
I tried it in a HB strat before that and it just didn't feel as right. I think it matches well with gibby scale.

Paul gilbert also used the PAF for a long time. I think it was standard on one of his sig models as well

Love the '57 in the neck of my Les Paul, and the burstbucker in the bridge. The SH5 in my SG really is a killer combo. I'm putting BKP's Crawlers in my Jag, they are usually used to make strats sound fuller, almost PAF like. But I wouldn't describe them quite like that.
I had PAFs in one of my other SG's and that thing was epic.
