I agree with this, and that was really fucked up.
Let me share a fucked up story with you guys. Before my ex and I got married she came to me with a confession that when we were first dating exclusively that she cheated on me. She was crying and felt like a horrible person and was asking to be forgiven. So I forgave her, and I told her that I wanted her to forgive herself... because she was going to need to find the strength to forgive me too... because I had also cheated. But guess what? She flipped and never forgave me, and acted as if she had never confessed anything to me. She almost moved out that night with my son. She was a stupid psychotic bitch.

Yeah, after we got married I made sure to never tell her about the affairs I was having
true story. not proud of it but trying to be funny

But seriously I've realized a lot of things about how and why things went as bad as they did which was what led me to allow myself to cheat, and without knowing how these things can develop you won't be able to outgrow them or stop them when similar patterns resurface.

Nah man I'm old and married and completely content. Focus on family and music and the rest falls into place. Why bother with the drama that comes from the OPs situation. You can work with attractive women all day long the key is to have your head in the right place and then you dont have to worry about it.
