I really really hate found footage style

As above so below was alright, and I liked europa report but I can rarely tolerate or even get through the first 5 minutes of most movies like that

^There are some good ones and some bad. I'd have to look at a list to see which ones I enjoyed because there are a TON of them out there.

Just read where David Gordon Green is now going to direct a new Exorcist.

I remember enjoying REC, though I haven’t seen it in a long time.

I recently watched Spree on Hulu. I thought it was really entertaining but it’s also kind of bad.

Ran outta give a fuck at the third worst.

I'm honestly not sure why the Halloween movies ever gained an audience. I mean, a lot of trash movies get audiences, I just can't wrap my head around this one at all.

I love Troll Hunter and [REC].

New Exorcist... I guess it's time to turn an excellent horror/drama about a priest who lost his faith into a full fledge Blumhouse horror movie. I fucking hate life.

Yes to both of those. I knew you'd be sad about the Exorcist :(

My understanding about the Exorcist is that it is not a remake, so at least there is that. Ellen Burstyn is also involved somehow and she is like 400 years old now. No, that doesn't make any of this even slightly better, but after that exorcist series with Gina Davis and the 2 versions of the prequel, it's obvious they don't know how to approach any sequel or prequel to this story. Exorcist II: The Heretic was awful. Legion however (I know it's officially The Exorcist III, but it's fucking Legion) was great for the most part (had it's minor issues too). Even with George C Scott's overacting.

I guess, my issue is, I find the original to be an almost perfect movie. it's so perfect at what it does that it made millions of people think it was a horror movie about a possessed girl. STOP FUCKING WITH IT!

It's tough making "new" stories. Even if that fact drives us nuts. Have you seen the new Terrifier? First one was great. Not sure if it's too humorous for you? 2nd one looks excellent in the same way.

Art the Clown is the next Jason, Michael, Freddy... Only better because there are no apologies for the ridiculous stuff involved with the Terrifier movies. The first one is one of my favorite "slasher" films ever. It's like what if we combined a slasher film with torture horror (my least favorite horror genre), but make both aspects actually good, ridiculous, and fun to watch. It managed to do something no other clown film or just regular clown has ever done... Art creeps me out. Pennywise does not. The "crossdressing" scene in the first one had me rolling.

I was supposed to go to the theater to see the second one, but something came up and have not had a chance since. I'm ecstatic that it's doing so well, but I also want it to hurry up and get to streaming.

EXTRACTION solid 8/10
Well, this is solid action movie, like a John Wick. With just enough plot to tie the scenes together, and to justify all the shooting going on.
I put off watching it for a long time, b/c I thought it would suck, but, LIS, good action flick.
After Tuesday, even the calendar goes WTF!

I enjoyed it. about 20 minutes of it could have been cut i think, but it's brutalness was awesome. i still prefer the simplicity of the first one though

Yeah it was longer than I expected it to be. It's weird how it suddenly stopped being funny and I can't tell you when that shift happened. I need to rewatch part 1 at some point.

I supposed they could pull off it off with an Austin Powers kind of thing with a submarine ambulance

Barbarian: good for what it is/10

Nothing new or ground breaking here. It was entertaining despite starring 2 male actors I despise.

The Good Nurse 7/10...... slow burn True Story about Charlie Cullen.... another one of those stories where you wonder how the fuck they didn't get him sooner... also, I have eto admit the way he would kill his victims was pretty damn smart...
