Not sure but this season is starting off VERY well. Man, i love this show. Some of the best imagery and scores on television and great writing / acting to boot.
Sh*t is straight up WEIRD this season I dig it but I feel like I have been in a dream state for both the episodes so far. Trippy, to say the least. You will dig it, Spawn
Been digging Penny Dreadful this season. It's a nice smaller counterpoint to GoT.
Not world spanning epicness; more local shit that happens to a group of people. Weird shit going down this season with the Nightwalkers. Those bitches are fuckin WEIRD, and oddly hot scarred up and naked.
Interested to see what happens with the reborn whore since she decided she wanted to murder people and also what happens to Dorian Grey. Always been a favorite character of mine.
Ballers started tonight; kind of 'Entourage meets the NFL' with Dwayne Johnson in the title role. Interested to see if he can carry this. Not a bad start, I'll give it a few weeks and see what's up.
NBC just announced that "Hannibal" has been cancelled after this season. It never fails... Well-written shows with interesting characters and plots get axed while worthless and moronic shit like "Big Brother" and "The Silicone Whores of Orange County" get renewed for decades. Fuckers...

Is anyone else here very fussy with shows/movies/games? I have begun dozens of shows over the last years only to watch 2-3 to their full seasons. Some shows I watched ended up lasting half a season or so.. but then either the cheese got too heavy or just became plain boring.
Maybe there is too much selection out there.. I guess that's where fussyness is born lol.. sucks

The opposite. I take the time to get invested in a show and then they cancel it...

The 90's era Magnificent Seven TV series is some serious cowboy movie ripoff bullshit. Kyle Reese in one of the title roles, and it's literally every fucking western movie cliche shoved down your throat episode after episode. My wife loves it. I'm tolerating it, but only with the caveat I get to bitch about how many times I've seen each story before. The one we watched last night was the "my wife and son were keelt and I'mma gonna go full potato cakes thinkin' I can haz revengenceases except I keep gittin' cock-blocked tryin' ta find who gave the order" story. Couple before that was the whores with a heart of gold bullshit where they keep getting beat up and of course only one of these cowbroboys can save 'em proper like and treat 'em like ladies. Gah.
Why can't people watch GOOD television instead of having Survivor Season 92 going strong??? Dammit, this pisses me off. One of the best shows on regular television.

Saw that - really sucks. Can't say I'm surprised. Takes quite a bit of investment to keep with the slow pace and deep dialog (even though the payoffs have been outstanding).
It'd be great if one of the Internet networks would pick it up, but I'm not holding my breath.

Nope I'm with. I'm notoriously hard to please with shows. IMO most shows should only go 2-3 seasons because that's all the writers can pull off without going full stupid.

Hannibal has been outstanding. They went up many notches on the cinematography quality and while the stag imagery and CGI stuff following Will got old and cheesy half-way through season 2, the shock and surprise of everything that happens multiple times in all 3 current episodes keeps things really interesting.

That would be awesome. Very sad to hear of the cancellation but no surprise whatsoever. Got to make room for America's Got Taint season 72 and Law and Order STFUV or wtf ever
On the subject at hand; I am very much looking forward to the upcoming showdown that is bound to happen I do like having familiarity with the characters from watching the films yet seeing a new take on them from this series' writers. Good stuff indeed.
Wife and I finished up Orange season 3 this weekend. I wasn't a fan of this season early on for no real reason but they made up for it as it went on. Also watching Wayward Pines still. Still kind of on the fence about it but it keeps me coming back each week, so there you go
Started "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" last night. Good lord, that show is funny. Great characters, great, almost Seinfeld level pull a bunch of random shit together in the end stories, and lulz. How'd I miss this one for so long?
Funniest thing, we started watching it because we watched "A Night with Game of Thrones" on youtube, which was like an hour and forty minutes of babble with the GoT cast, hosted by the asshole dude on Always Sunny. That's a terrific watch if you're into GoT, btw. Peter Dinklage when asked if he could choose any other character on the show to play, "Don Draper." Long pause, "Oh wait, wrong show." Big chunk of time talking about Nikolaj's hair. Nikolaj picking on Maise for saying her mom read the books and told her about her parts. Lots of .
Orange Is The New Black is great if you want to see a 5 getting eaten out by a 3.

It is a great show.. Doesnt quite have the replay value of Seinfeld for me.. I'll watch Seinfeld prolly til I die.. lol.. For Its always Sunny, if Ive seen it, I usually go elsewhere..
Another 90's show that I still watch regularly.., Actually just about every morning as I make and eat breakfast after the gym, X Files.. IVe seen em all at least a half dozen times.. Dont know why, but I can watch em over and over.. I guess the feeling of being 16 and stoned n 1994 watching X Files never wore off.. lol
