Robinhood will pay off the right people and they will get away with it... just like Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan in 2008.

That was an outright betrayal and obvious gaming of the system back in favor of the select few in our capital market, which is supposed to be a free capital market for all intents and purposes where the purchase and sale channels are both open.
We are watching how quickly roaches scurry to regroup when the light comes on.
Despicable.
I cashed out my stocks with Robinhood yesterday. Shady fuckers.

Not exactly, your talking 2 different type of brokerage houses - Goldman and JP are the elite of Wall Street, the biggest brokerage dealers and with some of the biggest funds around, they have plenty of wealthy and uber rich people as clients. They are powerful and influencial on the street. Robinhood deals with a smaller client (on the average) they may have some rich people of course but overall its a different customer, we shall see what comes out of this
Speaking of the stocks GME is now around $60 a share as i type, it was in the $300 range just a couple trading days ago!

Yes, Goldman and JP are the elite of Wall St but, it all depends on how much spreading around money perpetrator has.
Staying out of jail didn't bankrupt any of the Wall St firms but, it may bankrupt Robinhood.... time will tell.

The people that own majority share of Robinhood may not be Goldman level elite, but Citadel isn't exactly a little guy either. They've got plenty of wealth and influence to keep their baby out of too much trouble unless the public starts calling for heads to roll. In which case they'll likely have some grand renaming scheme or another and keep right on trucking.

AMC

I almost bought some last week but was on vacation and forgot. It makes sense that it went up. They just got a ton of capital plus with theaters reopening there's going to be money being made. Hindsight is 20/20.

I have a gut feeling the time to move to CASH is now. When all these new policies hit home things will not be so good

He doesn't mean actual "cash". He means going to money market, stable value, or some type of short term bond instrument.

With Pepsi he could actually be talking about driving to the local bank branch, asking Sue for his life savings, and returning home to stuff it in the mattress.
