I don't have cankles. I use a volume pedal. I just think wah pedals sound like Kirk Hammett.

yeah i dont use pedal wah at all.
env filter on one part of one song. and some filtered synth texture stuff, but no wah. not against them in principle, but wahnkery pisses me off. i like using them for slower sweeps and and cocking it for playing money for nothing occasionally :rawk: :)

I suppose it could be said that The Hamster did for the Wah what Frampton did for the Talkbox...

I would love to rock pretty much every board posted in this thread. Great stuff. I had to give my vote to Ruiner for this category, I think I could have the maximum amount of fun with that board

My board will be Strymon free by tomorrow. (although I'll probably keep the BlueSky and may even try the BigSky cause I do think their verbs are a step above the rest in most cases). I'll also probably get an El Cap at some point because it really is a phenomenal delay. I'm not a Strymon fanboy but I think some of what they do is really solid but are overhyped by some pedal communities. Taking off the Timeline, DL8, and Deco to make room for the Echoczar, Angelbaby, The Swell, and Amnesia as well as the foot switch for the Binson.

I'm really fortunate to have gone through as many pedals as I have in such a short time and that hands on experience is invaluable to me but I really think I'm coming close to the board Ive been seeking out since starting. I'll always try new stuff and swap a few here and there and make more boards but for my tastes, Ive really tailored it down to what fits me the best.

Maybe next year I can get it as clean looking as Mr. Nobody's cause that is one of the best looking boards I've seen and I'm jealous of the stereo rig setup. that's my next goal with amps.

Ruiner, what do you think of the blue sky?

I'm in the market for another reverb. Dispatch master I don't really count as verb or delay, Afterneath is too specialized to be the only one on my board, and while I like the supernatural and don't plan on ditching it, let's just say it's not on my board these days

Spawn, the tech 21 boost rvb is super legit and cheap. The clean telecaster guy in this will destroy you plays one.

It's like a smooth plate that does extreme settings very well. No modulation though. I think mine was $80.

BlueSky is the best overall reverb I've used for plate and hall settings. Goes from subtle to huge and sounds great IMO. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Another (and cheaper) one that I've been looking at I think you'd like it's the new Keeley Aurora. Check out some demos on it. Seems like a really good overall reverb from light to huge, lush sounds and nice options.

I haven't spent a lot of time with it yet, but my Midnight 30 The Swell is 3 pedals in one but you can buy their Midnight 30 Serenity reverb on its own. I'm liking it a lot so far and it has a Ghost knob which can do some cool stuff.

I love my Afterneath and Supermoon but those are very specific sounds that I prefer to use sparingly and not on every track I do.

Sweet dude, I'll check that out! Tech21 has always been one of those brands that I've avoided for no real reason, I'm guessing probably the aesthetic

Cool dude, I'll be looking into those as well. Keeley has been knocking it out of the park lately, I haven't heard of that one, very interested

Ruiner & Broslinger should make a clip with all their pedals on at the same time... just because.

First through something squeeky clean. Like a Roland 120 or even a Macintosh HiFi rig.

Then something over the top. JVM OD2 red channel or a Triple Rec set for Meltdown.

Last but not least, a Fucking Fucker on Maximum Ream.
