OK, just because I haven't said it yet this week: Jared Keeso rules. Anybody that hasn't watched Shoresy yet needs to get with the program. Like yesterday. HO-LEE.

Everything about his delivery as Shoresy, finally actually seeing his face, is perfection. From the affectionate, "Give yer balls a tug," while smiling to the "FER WHAT?" and then interrupting the answer with, "Huh?" to his creative string of insults on the juggling fool that used to be their coach, this show is perfection. They even lean heavily into his "yer mom" personality quirk. "Ya know, if you were about fifteen years older. . ."

Can we just clone Keeso already? I need about twenty more shows in the Letterkenny / Shoresy wheelhouse, and clearly he's gotta be the lead in all of them.

Digging on this Obi Wan show on D+, pretty cool backstory and it’s decently written. Vader is a fuckin badass in this, just murderously angry and immensely powerful. You really get to see why everyone is as afraid of him as they are.

One episode of Peaky left. I am enjoying this season. Not sure how they plan to wrap up what's left in one episode...but it's going good. I was worried on the P factor that Yarb had mentioned but it ended up working the plot quite nicely. Nothing was as oft-putting in this realm as S2 of the Boys as far as that goes.

Finished up Peaky last night. Some good old fashioned gangster shizz. Great vibe and atmosphere overall for the last episode and a good sendoff for the Shelbys \m/

S4 of killing eve is complete garbage. It’s like one long lesbian fantasy with 95% ugly people and no nudity with no point to the story.

Decided to give it another go and I am glad I did. Once shit got personal again, it got much better.

Nice. I thought it was a great sendoff, overall.

Gene; I like the last season of Killing Eve It's ridiculous but Jodi Comer is always awesome and Sandra Oh just getting her stride finally. The ending left something to be desired. But we've had that situation before with this series. I would say overall it certainly has it's flaws but Comer and just the quirkiness of it has always been it's saving grace.

Started The Old Man last night. Jeff Bridges is self retired ex CIA. John Lithgow is his old something or other. We don't know the relationship necessarily from the jump. GREAT start. Potential issues are if they kill the dogs or if they veer off into "Hey It's Season 37 of the Blacklist!" land where things get too drawn out and too kooky. This needs to stay dark af. Without killing off any pets

Finished Umbrella Academy season 3 last night. Much better than season 2. They definitely had a bigger budget and better idea what to do with the characters. I hope there is another season, but I am happy where they ended it if not. My only slight quibble is the arc of Elliot Page's character. It is ok to seperate fiction from reality. It is ok for actors to play nationalities and ethnicities that they are not. It is ok for straight actors to play gay and non trans to play trans and vice-versa. It's called acting. Anyways, off the soapbox. I recommend.

Started S3 of Barry. Surprisingly terrible so far. It takes a lot for Hollywood in jokes to be funny to average person. Some shows do it right. This season of Barry currently does not. At all.

The whole season is like that, with a gut-punch ender.

I guess I don't know for certain, but the end of the season felt like giving up. I mean, I like some aspects, but it definitely hits you with a "OK, moving on" vibe. Like, I'd be perfectly fine if it never comes back. If it does come back, I'll probably try it, but I'm not holding my breath.

Kinda tired of shows starting out funny then going super-serial just cause. Orville, I'm lookin' at you too.

I didn't mind this week's Orville nearly as bad as I did last week's. When you make a trans kid story feel better to me than a political intrigue story? Something's not quite right. I do hope we can stop obsessing over suicide and super drama long enough to get some jokes in again this season. For fuck sake, life's depressing enough without ruining my comedies.

Yeah I am not planning on finishing it up at this point. I really liked up thru S2. But then it was like a Peaky Blinders thing where it felt like 3 years between seasons. I tried to get back up to speed in the first episode and I just wasn't feeling it.

Started Dark Winds. Police procedural set in the 70s on an indian reservation. Really good so far. I'll at least finish this first season.

We started binging The 100 again just for shits and giggles. Funny how watching it tight like that rather than spread over years you see things a little differently. Clark isn't coming across nearly as badly this time around, for instance. When you see episodes individually, she really comes across terrible. Packed together you sorta get her point.

Her mom is even worse this way than she was watching as it went. JUST DIE ALREADY, PSYCHO!

Irma Vep is both hilarious and somewhat of a brain tickler. Lots of fun with the interspersed clips from the movie being tossed in here or there. It's definitely not a straightforward show. The main actress seems to be sorta becoming Irma Vep when she puts on the costume, which is hilarious to see.

Time Traveler's Wife: How 'bout next season we see more of the wifely unit naked and less of him? Hmm?

Also: "I'm not gay. I had a unique opportunity..."
