Seaforth is good stuff.

I am so close to buying a Henson Ti22, because I absolutely love my Al13, that it’s pathetic, but I just can’t bring myself to pay $250 for a razor.

Does a shower mirror count as a shaving accoutrement? It is the first one I’ve purchased in two years.

Oh, wait: I bought a new no-no trimmer, because my Wahl decided to turn into a brick. I went with the shower-friendly Manacaped Lawnmower 4.0, on the recommendation of Eric Bischoff.

Speaking of Seaforth:

Image

Good shave. This felt good. SLOC is a great handle. Personna med prep blade. Seaforth soap and aftershave. One cut on my jaw line from a pimple.

I couldn’t use that razor. I shave blind in the shower. I’d paint the walls with my blood.

This is why I ordered the Henson mild. Seemed much easier to get the angle right.

I don’t find the SLOC too aggressive but then again I was using an Occam’s Enoch for months before I went to the SLOC. I grabbed the SLOC because my old Van Der Hagen wasn’t aggressive enough anymore compared to the Enoch. The SLOC isn’t nearly as aggressive as the Enoch but it’s a bit more than the Van der Hagen so it works for me. I couldn’t shave blind in the shower though. I need a mirror.

Man, I used my dart yesterday, and it was frickin brutal. I just might sell both of them. I even have one of the serialized ones with the rare stand.

I used my Charcoal Goods Gen 3 Level 3 today. GREAT razor. It's a shame he's out of business.

Seaforth everything rules.

I have 3 from Blackland and that was the one I didn’t bother keeping. The BB is better in every way.

agreed. This is like the 3rd time I'm trying to make fetch happen. I don't care wtf Shane says. It's aggressive as fuck. If you teeter a micrometer, it kills you. It's like not having a safety bar at all.

Agreed, there’s barely a margin for error.

However after all of us using and enjoying $200+ razors that are the best in the business I didn’t really expect much for $100, you know?

Really dig on the ones I have; kind of want to try the Tradere but can’t imagine it’s going to be better than the BB.

For days I don’t feel like going that hard I have the Sabre and the Vector.

Don't waste your time on the Tradere. It's incredibly big and heavy, and it's a LOT milder than the Blackbird. You won't like it. It's unwieldy under the nose as well with that edge cover on the top cap.

Good looking out Geno, thanks!

Stick with what I have; zero complaints on any of them, really. They go from mild to medium to hot, as you well know. Just depends on what I feel like for the day and how scraped up my face is.

BB is all time #1 for me though.

SOTD - Broke out the Gillette Slim for the first time in at least, 2 years.
The Twee! aftershave is a Creed, Green Irish Tweed clone that I purchased during the recent St. Patrick's Day sale.... not my fav but, the g/f likes it so, that means it's in permanent rotation.
8.5/10 because, those old razors just don't keep up with the Lupo.

NewsFlash.

RE: The Italian "Barba Sana" brand of soap and aftershave.

Good stuff, like everything from the Belocchi group. (furbo, hipsteria, Barberia Bolognini, etc)

BS Blue = Acqua di Gio clone
BS Red = Boelis Panama clone.

same performance as Furbo. Good stuff, but only available from Bullgoose, and overpriced IMO. Especially when Bullgoose sells kilos of Furbo for the same price as a little tub of Barba Sana. So, unless you LOVE ADG or BP 1924, go ahead and just buy Furbo.

Oldie but a goody.......GB brush with an SHD knot, some B&M, a BB and some Creed.

Pair all this with a fresh new black T, some new black Ugg slippers and some new activewear sweats, and I feel like a million bucks.

Wanted to use the Vector today, but I'm out of AC blades…kind of shocked actually. It's been a fat minute since I ran out of anything to do with shaving lol

Went and dug way down into the bottom of my 1st shave box. The Kraken set was the 1st set I purchased for myself when I got into this thing years back. Still great. Prada rules, Blackbird still king, and this aluminum handled brush from Envy is awesome.

Stuck the safety bar back onto the BB because I found it yesterday digging in another shave box; figured why not since I shaved yesterday. Works just as well as I remember.

That Envy White knot is something different than I normally use from stuff like TnS or GB...lot softer, almost pillow like. Different but good.

I don't know what Seaforth added to their Black Watch and to their new, Sea Ice Lime, but man-o-man, the lather really is THE best ever!
Not exaggerating at all... the lather is super slick, almost greasy and amazingly protective.

Sea Ice Lime smells exactly like their regular Sea Spice Lime with with a menthol chill. The menthol doesn't change the scent, it just adds some mild face freeze.
10/10 Good shit!!!

EDIT: I used the Black Watch this morning... it's not quite as slick and greasy as Sea Ice Lime.
If any of you want to see what a great lather is all about, get a tub of Sea Ice Lime!!!!
