It's almost Halloween so I'm now replaying Castlevania Symphony of the Night. Trying to not buy anymore games before Christmas (except for MGS Collection Vol 1) so I'm putting stuff on my wishlist. Here's hoping a copy of Super Mario Wonder winds up in my stocking.

You ever play Castlevania Aria of Sorrow or Bloodstained Ritual of the Night?

Both of those are must-haves if you're in to SOTN

I also need Mario Wonder

Been playing WH40K: Dark tide. Really fun game with friends. Kinda like left 4 dead and Destiny had a baby. Constantly upgrading your weapons and working through a Diablo-esque skill tree. I chose a caster type and just force lightning the every living shit out of the hordes.

Oh yeah man! I’ve got Aria in the GBA Castlevania Collection along with Harmony of Dissonance and I have Bloodstained on Switch. I actually have both Bloodstined Curse of the Moon games too because they’re basically more modern versions of Dracula’s Curse. Great games.

Good luck brutha! I tried to revisit the original Command and Conquer recently and needless to say, I had to uninstall it to not destroy all my good memories of the game. I hope StarCraft holds up for you dude.

I've played a lot of Baldurs Gate 3, playing it in stints. Probably the most interesting game I've played in a long time, and the sheer amount of voice acting and quality gameplay has kept me coming back.

Got Aliens Fire Team Elite for PS5 for $10. Actually pretty fun. Certainly redundant, but it’s kind of a cool shop ‘em up game that only takes 30 minutes for a round. Perfect to get a couple games in when the baby craps out.

My buddy has been enjoying this game, but I told me there are some scenes in the game not suited for kids. We both have 9 year old girls, so from what you've seen so far, what are some eye turning scenes have you seen?

Thankfully in The Witcher 3, our daughter makes fun of the boobs, but is still uncomfortable a spell.

Nicee; so now you only have one more level before Act 2

If I remember right the first level in Act 2 is where you unlock the Electropylon Driver which is probably the overall best gun in the game; once you're able to start getting that you should be able to breeze through easier

Btw now that you've beaten Crimson Wastes there will now be an active teleporter right in front of the entrance to the mountain that will warp you straight up to the top so you can just use that to run straight to the final level of Act 1

God of War Ragnarok’s free Valhalla update. Think Kratos meets Hades. It’s amazing. I can’t believe it’s free if you own the game.

I’ve never played that. Just bought a copy about a week ago and it’s on my PS5. I will get to it at some point. I still need to finish Cyberpunk.

I just bought a new "gaming" PC (Intel i9-13900KF/64GB RAM/RTX 4070 TI/2TB boot SSD + (2) 1TB SSD's for storage) to replace my aging DAW. I don't game much, but I really enjoy flight sims and this configuration should suit both needs well.

The struggle: I bought the new MS Flight Simulator when it came out but it would never run on the old machine, so I'm pumped to get it going. I started the installation process yesterday and 26 hours later it's at 60% - IT'S A 160GB DOWNLOAD!! I have great internet service (700+ Mbps download), but it looks like Comcast is throttling the connection.

:nope:
I Love the smell of nitrocellulose in the morning.

I just ordered a copy of this for $10. At that price I couldn’t say no. Just have to add it to the backlog. Cyberpunk, GTA 5, Baldur’s Gate 3, now FFXVI, and that Valhalla DLC is making me want to play through Ragnarok again. I need more free fucking time. Stupid career advancement taking all of it.

I did finally finish the Dead Space remake and I completed Spidey 2. Both pretty good but I vastly preferred Dead Space.
