I did something similar as well. Had the ODR-1 in front of my MT15 for crunch sounds and a lead boost, the Keeley Halo in the loop, a reactive load, and a Friedman speaker sim to run direct. I built a custom footswitch to control the amp channel, the odr-1, the halo preset and tap. It work well.

Yeah the Remote jack is a really cool feature. Makes it easy to integrate it to racks or switching system.
