I wonder what the B+ voltage is. I had a Silver Jubilee that Ryan built back in the day. He specifically lowered the B+ voltage to tame the volume and it was exactly like you described.

I had the same Jubilee on loan for a while. Yes it was kinda similar although this is even quieter than Ryan's Jubilee. If that's the issue it will be an easy fix.

I think it's indeed something along those lines since the amp sounds great aside from the low volume, so I don't think there is something seriously wrong with it. But I don't want to take chances.

Don't suppose you snapped a hi res gutshot? It could just be shitty soldering somewhere, or they may have modded it to cut volume? You'd hope they'd mention something like that though :lol: Accidentally using the wrong bias resitor in the PI will absolutely neuter the volume.

Unfortunately I didn't. It's at the shop now so let's see what my tech says.

It would sound like sizzling dicks if the OT was damaged, so it's probably just something dumband easy to fix. Here's hoping anyway.
