Joyo High Gain Distortion, copy of Visual Sound Son of Hyde, which is based on Marshall Shredmaster. Instead of the sharp / blunt (low pass filter) switch, it's set in between at around 8,000 hz. Add a bass pot and change a cap if you want it closer to the original.

Kmise Roll Boost, clean boost. I have put them into other pedals that suffer from a volume drop when engaged.

Biyang Metal End, MT2 with loads more options. I am not a fan of the Boss, at least in stock form, this is a better version out of the box. I tweaked mine a bit because I can't leave anything alone.

Caline was in the first post, and was the first pedal that came to mind to me. I loved mine (still have it), I just never play guitar any more. Haven’t in a long time.

The Mosky 250X is awesome. Billy sent me one for Christmas. Does the DOD/MXR thing well, sounds good and is small.

I’ve had the Caline Pegasus which sounded ok but added weird noise on my old one spot. When I isolated it that seemed to go away but then my TC Zeus came in and I haven’t touched it since. If you’ve got a good psu with isolated outs go for it. Otherwise pass.

Kokko Compressor. It does the MXR Dynacomp thing ok. Not bad for under $30. Works well and does the pumping compression thing.

It's a Vemuran Jan Ray Clone, which is a Timmy clone... however, the Janice has extra knobs and a boost, that make it more flexible.
If you're into Timmy pedals, the Janice is totally worth the $50.00.
I think it's better than a real Timmy.

JRR pedals are awesome. They also make the Tone Bakery Creme Brulee, which is one of my favorite Klones. Their pedals are copies but they add extra functionality and features to them. I think Jerry from Surreal Amps is involved with the company to some capacity.

I think I hipped you to the 250X Billy. That's a good one.

I'm a big fan of the Joyo Gate Of Kahn, which is a Decimator clone I a super small form factor. Does a great job and takes up next to no space.

Sonic Cake Volume/Expression pedal is a good utility thing to have too.

I don't know if these count anymore because the prices went way up, but you used to be able to get the NUX Mod Core and Time Core pedals for $35 all day long and they were great Swiss army knives.

I am amazed at the quality of cheaper equipment these days. Far cry from the festering turds of the 80's and 90's.

I have built a collection of cheaper pedals over the years.

The Caline Orangeburst overdrive bb preamp clone is great and my favorite boost for a mesa amp ever.

The joyo american sound tech 21 blonde clone is a great direct solution as a clean amp backup and sounds pretty good as a mid gain drive as well.

The mooer ensemble king sounds really close to the old boss chorus pedals with true bypass and less volume loss when engaged.

The joyo us dream sounds scary like the suhr riot.

Caline Englishman is great. It made me sell my jhs @ drive.

The mooer e lady is one of the best electric mistress clones I have ever heard. I think it sounds closer to the original than many of the modern offerings from ehx.

I have also made a small collection of the mooer pre amp pedals. I have the peavey 5150, mesa mark III, the Friedman and the Koch power tone models. The 5150 model is my favorite, but they are all really decent for the $50-60 I picked them up for.

I have the 5150, the ensemble king and a Keeley halo on a board the size of a Hammond 1590dd enclosure and it sounds great through a backline amp or direct in a pinch and is small enough to fit in the pocket of my gig bag. I'm lazy and can't be bothered to pack tons of stuff anymore and this thing probably gets used a lot more than it should based on cost, but it sounds good.
