With the Syn-1 and free module bundle, it was worth it to me. If nothing else, trade the BE module that comes with it for something else. Just avoid the module rabbit hole and you, and your wallet, will be fine!
The SLO, Vai, 6505, and Deliverance modules have been legit for me. The BE is good but just not my thing. Too smooth. If I had to keep only one it would be the SLO.
I only ended up keeping the BB/BE module, (which is pretty much the Runt in a module), the IICP and the SLO. The others were fun but were not going to get a lot of real world use for me.
I also ended up keeping both the Syn1 and Syn2. I gave up on the idea of having a dedicated power amp for the Syn2 though. I will mount it in a small 3 space rack along with my G-Major and Power Conditioner and just run it into the FX returns of my amps. It sounds great that way and makes life a lot easier.
