If we're reduced to arguing over whose dick it is, then the world's in trouble.

But hey, at least we've proven that HCAF Classic is fully operational here! :ymparty: :ymapplause: =p~ ;)) :-j

Also, more songs that involve the lyrics "stutter" and "stuttering" accompanies with clever hooks where stuttering occurs.

Yes, because this wasn't overdone enough the first time around in the '90s/00s.

I actually really dig (excision, datsik, bare noize, knife party) some of it but I understand the hate.
My favorite drum and bass group Pendulum actually started a dubstep project that seems to be getting a lot of commercial play, noticed their song Bonfire in a movie trailer the other day and I think its an awesome song.

Anyway I understand but its effective to the general masses.
Give it time and it'll be replaced by the next generation that the hardcore dubstep fans don't even consider music just like all the metal heads say about this fad.
Its the circle of music my friends.

I like dub. Good old spacey trippy shit.

Not a big fan of the dubstep. Most of the wobble samples they use sound like a talkbox run through a bit crusher (which is what some of them are).

I should mention that dubstep is exactly like metalcore was 5-10 years ago. Kiddies just like that shit because of the breakdowns.

Skrillex is to dubstep is as Avenged Sevenfold is to metal.

Just sayin.

What I'm saying its an accessible example of the genre to the novice its a joke to most of the serious fans.
I don't consider myself a serious fan but I know many.

I can see that about bigger bands like Rush I guess but I have been pretty happy to hear smaller bands like Dead Meadow in the Miller Lite commercial, The Black Angels in a few others including a video game and Cadillac, and the Dandy Warhols in quite a few commercials. And, for the most part, nobody knows who they are because they are indie-ish bands. The Dead Meadow + Miller Lite commercial was a mainstay of the NFL season so that was good. Oh yeah, Gold Lion by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in that new Cadillac commercial was a nice one this year too...

I am mostly joking. I say good for them as long as it results in a sizable check.

I heard a friends band in a Taco Bell commercial the other day, I nearly shat myself.
