I fixed a little tear out from when I stepped down the headstock:

All thats left to do is finish sand

Profile is a fender style C at the nut that transitions to a flattish D at the 12th. 0.85" at the 1st, .88" at the 12th. Feels really comfy. I'm going to finish sand and fret on tuesday.

What's the latest? Did you get completely stopped by receiving your new guitar?
...not that I could blame you

Since I haven't been able to motivate myself to get my own projects going, I thought I'd live vicariously through this one

Wow! That is so cool!!!
If I hit the lottery, not only will I buy a ton of gear to rival Ruiner but, I'd also buy some woodworking gear and have a go at guitar making.
Playing a guitar of your own creation has got to be a great feeling... unless you're Nobody!

Yeah, just working on the body. Should have more to post soon. I'm having a buddy with a cnc cut the body for me. All the work on my end is done. Just waiting for him to have the time

Thanks dude! Its a slimmer, slightly more angled version of a Firebird in solid Black Walnut

I'm also getting one made in Korina for a future build.

Korina on the left, walnut on the right.
The walnut is getting an oil finish and the neck I built in this thread. It's going to be a workhorse. I'm probably going to buy a single sized HB for it.
The Korina is getting a white stain and lacquer finish along with an as of yet unbuilt neck.
