Thanks man. Yeah the hard part was my wife has been super stressed lately and it was getting late and she wanted to rest so I had to hurry, I didn't have but 20-30 minutes to just hurry up and lay tracks. And for whatever reason I get general recording anxiety. I don't really get performance anxiety.. it's a different phenomenon. Obviously it's even harder to deal with when you're recording with tired people in the room who want you to finish quickly.

but it's been an interesting set of adjustments I've had to make and I'm trying to make the best of it. I've preached mixing up your routine to shake you out of phases and ruts and this whole situation at home has definitely presented some interesting curve balls that I've had to learn how to deal with. But it's actually facilitated the singing part more than guitar since I don't have the room for fucking around with tone tweaking and pedal swapping and all the other bullshit I would waste time on and I needed to do some work in regards to the singing/song writing so here's to making lemonade!

Mike's doing a great job. I think he definitely has a good voice for this stuff - just needs to (imo) rough it up a bit. Takes cajones to do what he's doing with the family present
