Just found out that the Aristocrats are playing in Houston in August and just told Devin that we have to go.

Riverside and Jolly were both incredible tonight. The sound was really clear as well. Great night.

Next up, Jagermeister Music Tour, with Gojira, Ghost, and The Defiled.

bought tickets for my girlfriend and i to see mumford & sons/whatever other trendy bands are playing in september. fun. is playing. their first record was good. could be cool.

Planning on seeing the Aristocrats in August. Would love to see Alice Cooper as well.

Hypocrisy tomorrow. Then I think the next one will be Rush next month if nothing comes up beforehand.

Ghost was amazing. Best show I've ever been to. You guys who are going are in for a treat.

^They were so good last month as well. Brilliant live band.

Last night Ghost did a signing for their new album in Hollywood and my brother and I were able to go. I never thought I'd have the opportunity to meet them, and I sure as shit never thought I'd be able to shake their hands and talk with them. They were really cool, humble, and down to earth guys.

Friday night in Virginia Beach we had the Lunatic Luau at the Farm Bureau Live (amphitheater). Fortunately it is roughly 20 minutes from my house. Pretty good show...Damn good actually. The bands involved were, in no particular order:

Tonight was easily the best Rush gig I've seen in recent years, live in person or recorded. They've definitely stepped up their visual show (one big screen, 10 smaller screens that lower from the ceiling). They spent the first half performing their regular stuff from before. The second half brought on a string section and they performed most of Clockwork Angels, before ending with some of their most popular songs (Spirit Of Radio, YYZ, Tom Sawyer, 2112 etc). Brilliant show. Would be my gig of the year if I wasn't looking forward to Roger Waters The Wall in September.
