Your Love Outfield
Three awesome choices. Love me some new wavey INXS, before they decided to get funky. One question:
do you really have a singer who can nail all these songs? That Church song is
deep and that Outfield song is
hiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh.
Not sure yet. The keys player wants me and him to cover lead vocals. Only had one practice yet, and that was without a drummer. I guess I was being auditioned, but I didnt even think about it that way cause my bro-in-law has been wanting to do something for a few years, but the keys player is the guy in charge. He had some nice things to say on the bands facebook group
"Ok...somehow post got screwed up. 3 of us got together last night for initial practice and to see what each of us will bring to the table. Love Chris Bo's tone, chops and vocals. Looks like 2 of us will sing lead and offering some to Darren too. We will all be miked and will back whoever is singing." I havent sang lead vocals in a few years, but I have a decent voice after practicing for a bit. Not as much range as when I was younger though.

Not in a cover band but occasionally mix some in our set. Most recently did dancing with myself(gen x/billy idol) and on Halloween we did a cool version of Alice coopers ballad of Dwight fry, Rolling Stones "she said yeah", iggy pops Funtime, on various sets. It's always fun to mix it up with a cool cover or two.

I'm in what would be considered 3 I guess. I have my instrumental prog band and my metal band (both links in my sig). I also do the Floyd thing with my instrumental band and some guests (i count that as .5) and I also frequently jam with some guys doing some bluesy southern rock type stuff. Mostly obscure covers. I count that as another .5

We worked on Epic a bit, but it fell kind of flat. Too obvious for the music nerds and not danceable enough for the average crowd.
You gotta sell it.

We get in FULL 80's mode. We even have stage names. Spandex, wigs, makeup....all of it.
You mean like...this
