I've tried a lot of different strings, and what I've found is that there's really not much difference IMO. Slight differences in brightness and feel,...but it doesn't bother me much. D'Addario's, Boomers, and SIT's are the ones I generally buy.

For my acoustics I'm a lot more picky.
