Meh, started watching the video and skipped into it 7 or 8 times and every time I got one of these dickholes talking about the fucking amp rather than playing it. Granted from the above it doesn't seem like I missed much though.

3k plus "HellWin" logo on the front will equal very low sales.

Who would buy that over an Ectacy or an SLO?

I thought it was very dark sounding, but the mid gain tones were decent. There is no way that amp is going to sell for that much coin though, and they are fucking ugly.

They look horrible, I dont think they sound good, they dont seem to be designed very well for the purposes they say, and if I was gonna spend more than 1500 on an amp, Id go big and get a friggin natas or something. This seems like a really stupid move on schecters part.

Would love to hear another demo, I don't think it did the Hellraiser justice, the Hellwin does sound promising though.

And I like that PT guitar he was rockin'.

$3700 and $2600 HOLE E FUCK!!!!!!

I actually thought the amps sound good and I would totally consider owning one at a lower cost, but thats outrageous!

This is definately not going to go well for schecter, a COMPLETE marketing failure, its too bad the amps actually sound good.

I've not heard the amp, no speakers @ work so I'll check it @ home, but $3k?

Is it hand built by Elvis Fucking Presley?

Besides, why do they have an old soul singer designing amps? Pappa Got a Brand New Bag don't = amp genius! L-) :-? j/k ;)

But $3k?

sucks for you bro...

My problem is they made/marketed these amps for HCAFers/Sevenstringers, but priced it for TGPers.

You can also buy way better amps than those for that price no matter where you are btw....

I don't play 7-strings much less 8-strings but I've always been under the impression that the low-end has to be tight and focused to facilitate all that extra low end that these guitars bring, no???

Ok, so I wasn't the only one confused by that? Usually the 7 & 8 stringers not playing Korn seem to want really really tight middy stuff from what I've heard? I mean, you're going to get a TON of low end from a 7 or 8 string anyway, you don't really need/want more usually. And when I think of sag I think doom/stoner/etc. not really 7 or 8 string music all too often. IDK

The price on the Hellraiser didn't strike me as too bad for an amp with those features. $2600 list, so what $2100 street for a MIA amp? Doesn't strike me as outrageous like the price for the Hellwin does.

Personally, I have pretty much 0 use for one, though it'd be fun to play a 6er tuned to B or something through the 8 string mode. :D

Uh-huh

BTW you did see the j/k & ;)

So after listening to the demo, I'd put a realistic price for those sub $1,200. How can they expect to get that $ for them when the 3120 sounds better at a 1/3 the cost? The entire Recto/Mrak line slays that from what I could tell.

I like the idea of the cab though... that sub in there... 7s and 8s would sound great!
