If you were to rank every band in the world on a scale of "quality of their best live album versus quality of their studio albums," WASP would come in at #1 for this album.

I think The Isle Of Wight show is something only a true Hendrix fan can appreciate. Not his best show, by any stretch, but that "angry" / "dont give a fuck anymore" vibe he had that night put things into a different perspective (in a good way).
I think he KNEW the end was near, & he didnt care anymore.

Isle Of Fehrman, Germany, I think (?).
Wish there was a good ausio recording of the MAui (Rainbow Bridge) show. He was in a great mood that day & played his ass off. The better mood he was in, the better the shows seemed & the better he sounded. There's audio of it, but the wind was bad that day & alot of sound was lost. Mitch Mitchell over dubbed the drums on the video bc the recording was so bad (You can see how windy it was...hence the foam on the mics).
The video woulda been way cooler without Nasty old Pat Hartley lol. Jimi pulled some nice ass..unfortunantly Pat was kinda gross, IMO lol.

Moody Blues live at Red Rocks is pretty good. Justin's voice isn't as good as it was when I saw them though.
That was a freaking epic show.
