Sinister: 3/10

I'd feel bad giving it less than that as Ethan Hawke did ok in his role. Apparently the director got the idea for the movie from a nightmare he had after watching The Ring. Unfortunately, the movie sucks and it was frustrating because there was either 1) a great serial killer movie there or 2) the basics of a decent if cliche horror movie. Instead, you got a movie that didn't make much sense and was terribly paced. Bleah.

Prometheus 6/10

I don't know if it was just over hyped but I didn't find anything especially amazing about this movie, the special effects were pretty awesome though but that can only carry a movie so far. The Plot was fairly predictable with the except of maybe one or two minor things...

Argo - 8/10. Really liked this

The Master - 5/10. Great acting, as can be expected from JP and PSH, but I felt like the story was trying to be weird just for the sake of being weird. I would have given it a 3 but I feel that the abundance of boobies is worth 2 points.

Good premise, falls apart at the end.

seems like a lot of people don't understand the end. i know when i saw it in the theater i was like oh lovecraft how cool but most people there had no clue.

"oh a VERY poor lovecraft ripoff, how cool". fuck joss whedon. i liked the two controller dudes.

Not enough of Katie Fetherston's tits. It was less boring than the other movies in the series though. Or I've learned to expect two hours of blah with thirty seconds of activity.

Twilight Breaking Dawn 2 - NEGATIVE 400/10

They somehow made Kristen Stewart look gaunt and fugles, thereby negating the only positive the series ever had. She didn't even look good in jeans this time. Marriage compromises sometimes suck.

It's still the best movie of the series. I like how it just ended with no actual conclusion. Seemed a fitting end for that "saga."

Everything about this post makes me sad.

SPOILER!!!!!!

umm you knew the guys that "left early" in the first expedition would be left be hind and die, once the doctor got pregnant you knew what it would play out to, it was clear that when they found the one "Engineer" would flip out and kill everyone, you knew the Android would betray the rest of the crew which is a kinda standard in the "Alien" series, didn't see Weiland being on board, kiiiiinda saw Charlize Theron being his daughter.... other than that the WTFs weren't so mind blowing as people made it to be I guess

I didn't think it was predictable, just major plot holes and characters acting illogically.

more this. i mean, the purpose wasnt "hey guess whats around the corner!!!!" no one was trying to sherlock holmes, you. almost all of entertainment is predictable in the sense that if you have seen enough of it, you know vaguely whats going to happen. but how they shoot it, how they write their characters to react to it, etc....there's the meat of it.

and the pregnancy, ok. the deaths? well yeah. its an alien-related movie. but you really knew the engineer was going to wake up, rip off the robots head, and try to resume his mission? c'mon. and you knew she was going to take the robots head, commandeer the ship and head off to engineerville?

I'll give you that, in the end I didn't think she would have gone to Engineerville lol... that was a cool ending, though yeah, I was pretty sure when they woke up Mr Engineer he was going to fuck shit up... and then I didn't like that in some cases the black goop would out right kill people but in other cases it would mutate them, WTF is that about?

And that's not cool.

Honestly I never paid much attention to her at all. She has a very "meh" face to me (again, relative to hollywood starlets) and while her body was ok, it wasn't anything special.

Seeing her in that Snow White and the Huntsman movie all I could do was laugh that she was supposed to be hotter than Charlize Theron.

Remember, this isn't the same as saying "wouldn't."

The Three Stooges:  / 10

I like the Farrelly brothers. No, I REALLY like the Farrelly brothers. Dumb and Dumber, There's Something About Mary, Kingpin and Me, Myself and Irene are faves of mine so I figured, "what the hell, how bad could it be?" It could be bad, it could be real bad. I urge you, my friends, to stop watching this movie after five to ten minutes: The rest of the movie is essentially that first part on a loop. Yeah, I know it is geared more towards kids. Yeah, I know the Three Stooges are repetitive. Still, I felt like poking myself in the eyes with a fork to end the misery after about 45 minutes. Bros, I cannot recommend this one, as sad as I am to say that.
