I'll have a couple beers tonight in the Formal Black jam. I've learned that a couple beers "loosens up" the vocal chords, or some shit. I know i know... dehydration and such. I drink a lot of water throughout the day so I'm not too worried, plus it's only a couple beers. But maybe it's just the mentally relaxing effects of alcohol/beer but I sing with less strain and self consciousness when I've had a couple Cold & On-Sales.

my wife works the second shift til 11pm. sometimes she has to work later than that even til like 2 or 3 in the morning.
plenty enough time to sober up. she doesn't drink. too bad. a whole nutter level of shenanigans when one is over 50.
Nah, she doesn't drink either... she had work shit all over the house - I'm not allowed to have anyone over unless she pre-sanitizes the house.
Ha- my wife is similar in that she, without exception, wants the house 'cleaned' (I have a different interpretation of that word apparently) whenever anyone comes over... any. one. lol
My friends could give a shit either way... i just stopped telling her about my bourbon soaked strip-poker shanannigans. I do clean the house afterwards tho'

Yet another IPA from my favorite brewery in Iowa. Quite nice; given the fact that it has been snowing all day on St. Paul, I should be drinking Porter, or Brandy. Korbel, because you can't take the Wisconsin out of me, if you tried.

I'm the only one that uses it... when friends come over we don't sip my Scotch and discuss it's notes....we drink.... I just like to have it so I can fully appreciate a whiskey when I first try it...
Nothing wrong with that, I only have a couple friends whim I use mine with, everyone else it's normal glasses or whatever's convenient
...found a flask size of makers 46, went with that tonight, pretty good, smoother than the other bourbon but I don't enjoy it as much as whiskeys

I'm not much a bourbon fan since I find they are often too sweet, but I've tried a few that I found good, just can't get there in store here... the only bourbon currently imported to Trinidad is the Jack Daniels line. Regular JD is too sweet for me, I don't mind the Gentleman's Jack and I'm yet to try the single barrel. I see they've brought out a Rye but haven't seen it on the shelves here, that I would give a try because I do enjoy a good rye. Majority of the Whiskey's we get here are Scotch, with a couple Irish ones tossed in.
