That Driver Booster looks like a killer utility, will have to look in to it.
iObit is a Chinese company. Malwarebytes scans show PUPs (potentially unwanted software) whenever I have one of their apps installed. After fixing my issue, I deleted the Driver Booster.

A few service packs ago I had to roll back an update because it wasn't compatible with my wifi card. It can be annoying because you can only pause them for a certain amount of time.
Here's a Forbes article about a recent Windows 10 update that caused a lot of issues for people. https://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonkell ... faf035aff8 I'm pretty sure this is what caused my issue... especially since my computer wouldn't let me delete update kb4556799.

Big truth
Glad you got it fixed Ajax, but the multiple BSOD's are a bit disconcerting. Hopefully it'll behave now
I'm thinking that the iObit Driver Booster thinks I have a new PC that came with Windows 10. It doesn't realize I have a 7 year old computer so, when I let it do a full repair on all 9 issues, it fucked things up by installing drivers that aren't meant for my PC.
What ever was wrong with my computer, I know it's going to poop the bed again so, I think I'll get a new Acer. Acer bought Gateway and I never had any issues with any Gateway that I owned. We have Acer laptops at work and my g/r recently bought a laptop so I recommended an Acer. She's been happy so far.
