Getting the Mesa Boogie MarkIII recapped. Hope this helps my tone on this amp, Gonna try and run this amp stereo with my FJA Modded JSX, Should sound huge!

Let us know what difference(s) you notice afterwards. Were there problems before? I ask because, while my Mark III sounds great and is pretty quiet, it is a 25+ year old amp, and I wonder sometimes if it's due.

Dos not have the gain it use to, makes a squeaking pop noise when i turn it off, I recapped three capacitors on the preamp side? Made a difference for a while, but i can't wait to here it when i get the filter caps done, Gonna put new tubes in to!! Let you know!

Misleading thread title is misleading. I thought that this was going to be a recapitulation of the Mark III.
