If I was gonna spend 1,000 I'd rather have a physical interface than a touchscreen with special software.

Not really impressed, pretty sure all the "amazing" features I saw are available in Reaper. The touch interface is cool though.

It's all about the touch interface for me. I love the simple little Logic Remote app for my iPad. The face that you can control a whole bunch of stuff while still holding your guitar to me is a huge benefit.

I think the cost is pretty sweet IF the actual display is big enough quality. Better alternative IMHO than an actual mixer in a small home studio for reducing clutter as well.
