The scene with the council was really horrifying in a bad ass way.
Oh yeah! The vampire that turned the current master was creepy as f**k as well! I think honestly they shouldn't have gotten such a gigantic guy to portray the master. It just looks ridiculous. You cast a guy like that for a serial killer role or something where you don't need to put a huge rubber head and puppet gloves on top of an already absurdly proportioned human being (I hope I didn't offend anyone with that remark )
Edited for apology in advance if I didn't catch in all the 120p pirated streaming glory that said vampire is, in fact; 100% CGI based
Yeah, that's been my biggest quarrel with the show. I really don't like the way they made him look. So many of even the street vamps look so freaky and good... he looks silly.

Started watching Mr. Robot last night. Thought I would hate it because it is from USA network. I was pleasantly surprised. Killer pilot episode that sets up the season quite nicely. About a guy who works cybersecurity by day and is a hacker taking down douchebags at night Was seriously one of the first shows where I felt like someone who actually knows something about technology was involved in writing the script. Not sure how long that feeling will last, but it was refreshing. Plus Christian Slater is in it. I have always dug his persona; it's just the fact that he appears in one good thing for every 50 straight to video pieces of

Yup, I'm two episodes in and the second one delivers as well. Good series so far

Finally getting around to watching Band of Brothers. Wow. Amazing show that is clearly grounded in reality. Also, has every cool secondary TV actor from the last decade in it. Great writing and performances. Think Saving Private Ryan without quite so much gore but even more death and destruction.

I think you're the last person in America to have seen that one dude...

No shit. I thought I was way behind
Yarb - just don't watch The Pacific thinking it's a 'good' follow-up. Sux real bad.

I actually started with that one because I thought it was a documentary. Blech.

Just read today they're making a killing and upping their spending from their current $5 billion to even more for more original content

Oh damn, for some reason I thought they were still losing money. That's awesome to hear!
Glad that NBC moved Hannibal from Thursday to Saturday without telling anyone
After watching it this week; I really have no idea how they thought they could pull off the levels of insanity and gore on a network television channel. It was crazy in every way Feels like they are accelerating to what I am hoping is good conclusion of the series.
Yeah - Hannibal keeps putting out. Can't believe they get that quality of gore on regular TV.
Really hoping that Amazon or Netflix takes it over.
Also really wish they could have gotten the rights to the Silence of the Lambs material. Would have been great having a Clarice Starling and especially a Buffalo Bill in the cast.

Just started watching Banshee. Good pulpy fun. It is basically Spartacus (extreme violence and sex) meets Justified (violent lawman fights backwater crime).

Watched last night's episode. Glad to see they've put the ship on the Francis Dohlarhyde track. Weird how they jumped the story from pre-Red Dragon to major elements of Hannibal (movie), and now are returning to the start of the Red Dragon, but it looks like they're doing an awesome job with it. I just hope the season doesn't end mid-story
Everyone else I tlak to loved it right out of the gate. Either way, 7 deep now and it's killer.
The downside to catching up to these shows is, I can't look up anything if I have questions about early episodes. I'm trying to look up a simple question to like episode 3 and find out the character trajectory and how they are no longer on the show
