New Prog Metal song some recording feedback please

Hello again guys!!

This is a new song, for a project I'm making. Again please if you guys can give me some feedback about the song, do you like it? What you guys think about the mix? Also what you think about the guitar tone too.

Again for this project I'm looking for musicians, a drummer a singer (yes the song have lyrics), and another guitar player, I have a few songs alredy written i'm recording a demo so I can start showing something and get some guys join too.

I use for recording MusicMan JP BFR, Seymour Duncan 805, Protone Dark Horse Deluxe, Mesa Boogie Mark V and Mesa Boogie Rectifier and Two Notes Torpedo Live.

Guitar tones are good. Drums seem quieter than they should be in the mix, perhaps? I am not too deep into the prog scene but I dig the riffing. Will be interesting to hear vocals on top. Playing is excellent. JP with cake=

Guitars and bass are too loud compared to the drums. Sound is good overall imo but those drums really need to hit you in the chest. Kick drum mostly is the culprit here, cymbal level is ok, snare could be a tad louder but the kick needs to come up in the mix a lot. Have you sidechain compressed the bass guitar with the kick track?

Yeah the drums need some fixing. It almost sounds like there are a million starts and stoops. Maybe there are drums there, maybe not. Makes everything sound disjointed. Good song idea though. Interested to hear a final mix.
