RIP Dan. Probably not a household name but a big name among guitar players around this part of the country. Such a tasty player. Went down to ALS, such a shame

Sad stuff. I'm not really familiar with him as that's not really a period of the ABB that I'm familiar with, but sad nonetheless.

Man, I hate that Greg Allman song, too. :lol:

My dad emailed me this story. Very sad to see someone face something like ALS; I wouldn't wish that upon my worst enemy.

I hear you man, I lost a friend to ALS, only 40 yrs.old. It took only 5years from diagnosis to demise.

5 years is average...iirc

My wifes aunt didn't make it 2 years. :cry:

ALS is a bitch and all too common (relatively) around my area. I'm certain the massive amounts of pesticides and herbicides in our water supply have nothing to do with it.

Sucks anytime someone goes down to that awful disease. :(
