GRIMESPACE wrote:Still not sure if that's any better for me - when I click VAT, I scan down and look for any threads (that I care to view) that have the little triangle symbol at the beginning of the thread title. No triangle means nothing new to see. If there is a triangle, I click that, and it takes me right to the first post I haven't read. Lets me scan quickly for "hot" topics, and doesn't require me to be fully engaged for long period of time.

Still, will try the other a bit more and see, but I'm still not convinced.

Fuck triangles.

You don't have to see threads that you have already read that don't have any new posts. Why look at a page full of threads you have already read that don't have any new posts?

This ^^^^
Say your are reading the newest threads.
When you refresh, you will only see threads that have new posts you haven't read yet.
If there is nothing new in a thread you have already read - and you won't even see it again until there is something new.

Every time you refresh, you are only seeing threads that have something you haven't read yet.
